Menorca a Cavall (Santa Rita)
Menorca a Cavall (Menorca on Horseback) is just off the main road between Es Mercadal and Ferreries. To get there from Mercadal turn right at the top of the big hill after the BP petrol station. If you are coming from Ferreries turn around at the petrol station to approach from the Mercadal side as the left turn at the top of hill is not allowed.
Open year round for horse riding trips. Santa Rita is a traditional farmhouse in a pretty part of the island. The grounds around the farm - woodland and hilly fields - can be riden as can local beaches and the recently restored Camí de Cavalls path. There are horses and routes for all levels from beginner to expert, and a horse-drawn cart for non-riders.
All very safe although experienced riders are also catered for and the riding can be demanding if required!
